By subscribing to our newsletter, placing an order, commenting on a post or simply contacting us, you provide us with your personal data. We guarantee that your data will remain confidential, secure and will not be shared with any third parties without your express consent.

We use cookies so that you can conveniently use our website. We also use analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, to collect anonymous information about your website visits, such as the pages you viewed, the time you spent on the website or the pathway between individual subpages. This is related to the use of cookies.

We use remarketing tools such as Facebook Pixel or Google Tags to target ads to you. This includes using cookies provided by these companies.
On the website, we display videos published on YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Viewing them requires the acceptance of cookies from these companies.

The administrator of your personal data, as understood by the Personal data protection Act is Contelia Sp. z o. o., Barska 26/9, 02-323 Warsaw.

Personal data

The purposes, legal justification and period of personal data processing are indicated separately for each purpose of data processing (see the provisions below for a detailed description of the various purposes of data processing).

You can exercise rights with regard to the processing of your personal data, according with the provisions of articles 16 – 21 of the GDPR by contacting us at: marta@contelia.com.

Providing your personal data is always voluntary, but necessary to place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, add a comment on our blog or simply contact us.

We guarantee the confidentiality of all your personal data. We ensure that all security and personal data protection measures required by appropriate provisions of the law are taken. Personal data is collected with due diligence and properly protected against access by unauthorized persons. Personal data is processed within the European Union and the USA.

We entrust the processing of personal data to the following entities:

  • Fakturownia – to use the invoicing system, 
  • Biuro Rachunkowe Kazimierz Borowski, our accounting service provider,
  • Mail Chimp – to use the mailing system,
  • WooCommerce – to use the e-commerce system

The Mail Chimp mailing system uses servers located outside the EU, which means your personal data is transferred to a third country, in this case the USA. The provider of the mailing system guarantees an appropriate level of protection and security of personal data.

Newsletter

Via our website, you can subscribe to a newsletter with information about new products, promotions, products and services related to our online activity. To send the newsletter, we must process your personal data (name and e-mail address).

In the case of the newsletter, the legal justification for the processing of your personal data is your consent expressed by clicking the link in the e-mail confirming the subscription to the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time by canceling your newsletter subscription.
The data is processed for the duration of the newsletter, unless you unsubscribe from it, which will delete the data from our database.

Purchases

When placing an order, you must provide your personal data necessary to process the order, i.e. name and surname, e-mail address (and in the case of physical products, telephone number and address for order delivery). 

The legal justification for the processing of your personal data included in the order is the performance of the purchase agreement. We process your data with regard to the update of the content of the purchased digital products, to inform you about the possibility of downloading a new version.

The data provided in the order form will be saved in our database and will be stored there until the claims for the concluded contract are time-barred. Each order is recorded as a separate item in the database. In addition to personal data, order details such as the date of placing the order, subject and value of the order are also recorded.

Invoices

If we issue an invoice, we process your personal data to the extent necessary to issue an invoice. The legal justification for the processing of your data in this case is the fulfillment of the legal obligation to issue an invoice. In addition, all issued invoices are included in the accounting documentation, therefore your data will be naturally processed as part of this documentation for the period of time required by law.

Comments

By adding a comment on the website, you provide us with your name and surname, e-mail address, website address and the content of the comment. In addition, the system records the IP address which was used to add the comment.

The data is saved in our WordPress database and stored in it throughout the life of the website. The data will be removed from the database when we decide to close the website.

In this case, your data is processed following your consent, which results from adding a comment. The data is processed solely for the purpose of publishing the blog comment. Some of the data (name and surname or nickname, profile picture) will be publicly available on the blog next to your comment.

E-mail contact

By contacting us via e-mail, you provide us with your e-mail address as the sender’s address. In addition, you can also include other personal data in the text of the message.

In this case, the legal justification for the processing of personal data is your consent resulting from initiating contact with us. The personal data you provided as part of an e-mail contact is processed solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry and/or order. The content of the correspondence can be archived.

We use Facebook and Google marketing tools to target ads presented on our website. For this purpose, we have implemented Facebook Pixel pages and Google tags in the code that remembers your visit. Facebook and Google cookies are also used for this purpose.

YouTube and Vimeo videos

We embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo and other similar websites on our website. By playing such a video, you agree to the use of Google LLC cookies for the YouTube service, or Vimeo cookies, or other such websites.

Social media functionalities

Server logs

Using the website involves sending queries to the server on which the website is stored. Each query directed to the server is saved in the server logs.

The data stored in the server logs are not associated with specific individuals using the website and we do not use them to identify you.
